BEST YORKSHIRE PUDDINGS FROM AUNTY FIONA

INGREDIENTS

Beef dripping for Yorkshire pudding tray

150ml milk

2 eggs

2 heaped tablespoons of plain flour

Makes 6 large Yorkshire puddings

METHOD

  1. Preheat your oven to 200 degrees fan.

  2. Mix the ingredients in a jug to make the batter and set to one side.

  3. Put approximately a 1.5 tsp of beef dripping into each hole of a 6 hole tin. And pop the tray into the preheated oven for 5 minutes. When the fat is smoking hot pour in your batter so it comes half way up the tin.

  4. Cook in the oven for 25-30 minutes. Avoid the temptation to open the oven and check as you will let the heat out and they won’t rise! Serve immediately with your Sunday roast.
